Boris - Ch Perrisblu The Butler won BIS at The Welsh Terrier Club Championship show on 22nd September, under top Al-rounder Mrs Jacqui Ward following on from Ch Perrisblu Ana who won BIS at the same show in 2018. Both handled by Lynn Snow. Litter sister Perrisblu Jennifer won the CC from the Limit class handled by Lynn and Alison Snow.

At City of Birmingham Ch show - Boris won BOB under breed specialist Mr David Hughes and Group 3 under Terrier specialist Mrs Lesley Crawley. This is what breed specialist David Hughes had to say about him:
Excellent breed type, well balanced with good bone, coat and colour. Good strength through fore face, good dentition, powerful bite, used ears well and was forward and game in showmanship. Indian Princess at Perrisblu (Pixie) at only her second show, won BOB under judge Mr J Scanlan and Terrier Group 1 under Mr. Max King.
Previously, at her first show at Paignton, she won her 1st CC & BOB under judge Mr Tom Johnson.

Ch Perrisblu The Butler ‘Boris’ won the Terrier Group at East of England under Welsh Terrier specialist Paul Wilkinson having won Best of Breed under Terrier specialist Ken Bartlett.

At Blackpool Championship Show, Boris wins the CC and BOB under breed Judge Liz Cartledge. This is what she had to say about him:
This was a most enjoyable judging assignment as the Welsh entry was of good quality with some superb youngsters coming along. There can be nothing more exciting than to find a new star in the making which is exactly what I did. My CC and BOB winner, Perrisblu The Butler, 12 mths old, just took my breath away. He is a proper Welsh, not a black/tan Wire Fox Terrier; the best I have seen in years. He never took a wrong step, moved so soundly and showed his head off. Definitely one to watch at top level as he really has got what it takes to go all the way.

A great day for Perrisblu at Bath Championship Show - Ch Balboa Nembo Kid and Perrisblu The Butler both won CC & BOB under Mr Ronnie Irving and Mr David Shields, they later won Group 2 and Group 3 respectively under Group Judge Mr Philip Horspool. Perrisblu The Butler then topped the Terrier Puppy Group under Mr Paul Wilkinson.

Perrisblu The Butler picked up his 2nd CC this weekend at Birmingham National, winning Best Puppy and Best Of Breed under Judge Joanne Vickers - going on to win Adult Terrier Group 2 under Judge Bill Browne-Cole and Puppy Group 1 under Judge John Scanlan. Handled by Lynn Snow.

At National Terrier this weekend - Perrisblu The Butler (Boris) won CC, BOB and BP from the Puppy dog class under judge Paul Wilkinson. Handled by Lynn Snow.
Perrisblu had a fantastic Crufts 2019.
Ch Balboa Nembo Kid won BEST OF BREED under Judge Mr Bill Browne-Cole. Perrisblu Ana won the Bitch CC and became a Champion, while Perrisblu The Butler won BEST PUPPY and RCC under Judge Mr T H Johnston.

At Belfast Dog Show Society Championship Show, Ch Balboa Nembo Kid won terrier G1 under judge Mr P Harding, returning to win Best In Show on Sunday. This is his critique from BIS judge Mr P Harding.
“I was thrilled to be invited to judge best in show at the Belfast Dog Show this prestigious well-run show in new grounds looking splendid, with plenty of exhibitors and I must thank the committee for the great hospitality. The best in show and best puppy in show did not disappoint with both having very strong group winners.

What a great ambassador for this breed so impressive in top condition with a dense silky perfectly coloured and presented coat, head strong and long with a pleasing length of neck excellent front assembly well ribbed, excellent topline and bang on tailset well-muscled quarters and what a mover he never stopped showing moved out with drive true on the front and held his topline in sidegait.”

Perrisblu Ana followed in her mother (Perrisblu Coco’s) footsteps yesterday by winning Best In Show at the Welsh Terrier Championship show, under judge Mr K Brown. Handled by Lyn Snow, it’s her second CC in as many shows and she’s still only 16 months old.

I judged him in the line up for best in show at Leeds and he impressed me then, however, today he really pulled out all the stops and I felt he was even better now. He looks good, never losing his shape and hands on he is cracking, so sound shapely and as fit as hell fire. His handler is calm and they work together as one. Has a super coat and blue colour. A real terrier in every sense of the word.
I went back on Sunday and was delighted to see him go res best in show behind the super min Poodle under one of our most experienced judges Derek Smith.”

…However, it was the ultra-smart Kerry Blue, Tasselli's Balboa Nembo Kid who ultimately topped the group. Oozed with quality and type. Long, strong, clean head. Good length of neck which he uses to advantage, well ribbed with depth of brisket and excellent topline. Perfect tailset and carriage. Strong, muscular hindquarters with good angulation. Most impressive on the move with plenty of drive and perfectly parallel action. His dense, silky coat is a good colour and perfectly presented.

“Heading this quality line up was the Kerry Blue Tasselli's Balboa Nembo Kid This male is so well balanced displaying a compact yet upstanding well knit muscular body, possesses an excellent head with perfectly set and carried ears giving an alert and determined expression at all times. Muscular and well set up all round, yet well balanced. Typically male but without any exaggerations. Great powerful hindquarters propelled him around the ring with determination and alertness."
